A group holiday home in the Beaujolais built for 18 guests
Looking for a group holiday home in the Beaujolais big enough to keep everyone under one roof? In Saint-Jean-la-Bussière, in the heart of the Beaujolais Vert, Gîte du Beaujolais Bleu sleeps up to 18 guests, two minutes from Lac des Sapins and an hour from Lyon. A quiet, practical setting made for family reunions, weekends with friends and private gatherings on a human scale.
In this large house to rent in the Beaujolais, everyone keeps their privacy: 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, 4 of them en-suite, plus 7 toilets throughout the house. No waiting your turn — real comfort when there are 18 of you.
A house designed for group living
The living areas are generous and full of light. The lounge and dining room seat the whole group for meals, a board game or a film night, with a TV corner and hi-fi system.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, sized for large tables: American-style fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and crockery in quantity. Cooking for 18 is no ordeal here.
There is also a games room with table football, pinball and an arcade cabinet, plus a quiet workspace: handy for remote working or running a workshop during your stay.
Heated pool, hot tub and 2,000 m² of enclosed garden
The 2,000 m² enclosed garden is the great asset of this Beaujolais holiday home with a pool. Entirely private, it brings together:
- A heated pool, open from 1 May to 30 September
- A high-end hot tub for 6
- A covered terrace with barbecue for outdoor meals
- A pétanque court and a table tennis table
- A playhouse and sandpit for younger children
Everyone takes the stay at their own pace — swimming, outdoor games or simply quiet time — in a secure space where children can roam freely.
Lac des Sapins and the Beaujolais Vert on your doorstep
Also known as Grand Gîte Lac des Sapins, the property sits two minutes from the lake. Supervised swimming in summer, water sports, a treetop adventure course, pedalo hire, waymarked trails and seasonal events: it is the obvious outing during your stay, just a short walk away.
All around, the Beaujolais Vert rolls out its unspoilt hills — walking and cycling routes, forest trails, and half an hour away, the golden-stone villages and wine estates of the vineyard. A wide range of activities stays within reach without spending the day in the car.
